Shaping a Sustainable sanitation solutions with KK-FRP
As sustainability is part of the company’s mission, KK has a started producing eco-friendly sustainable products like recycled Plastic Street furniture(Benches) and Green cement manhole covers. KK has also secured Green Pro Certificate from IGB Council Hyderabad.
We understand that today, it’s critical for companies to practice environmental stewardship. To design a business with sustainability at its core, we incorporate eco-friendly practices into every operations. The company follows environmental friendly manufacturing and production methods. Company uses Green Energy in the form of Solar Panels installed in their Unit and it is using recycled waste generated from its own production and thus advocating circular economy. Further, the company uses sustainable practices with finished goods. The company prefers to bring back the defective finished goods back to the plant for it to be recycled and reused in the production again. With regards to wastes that’s impossible to recycle, Company offer’s sustainable waste transportation services to reduce environmental impact.
We are aware that Climate change poses an existential threat to all living species on earth, and we, at KK FRP and Konkrete Private Limited, understand the urgency of being part of the collective effort forward combating the climate crisis. We are aware of the problem that concrete production poses as one of the largest contributors of greenhouse gas emissions, and the need for us in the infrastructure industry to collectively choose to transition away from traditional manufacturing practices to build a sustainable planet for our future generations, With a new vision in our company charter, we want to push the boundary of what it means to exhibit planet responsible business practice by innovating greener product alternatives as well as transiting manufacturing operations towards environment friendly methods.

We are approaching the sustainable revolution with comprehensive goals that include reduction of manufacturing waste, reduction of carbon footprint, development of greener products and contribution towards a circular economic system. Some of the sustainable initiatives that we have already incorporated include using industrial fly-ash by-product waste and slack based cement for precast concrete production, re-using our own manufacturing waste back into the production system as raw material for our products and powering our manufacturing facilities with green electricity through the installation of rooftop solar panels. For our ongoing initiatives, we are pleased to announce that we are researching greener raw material alternatives also.
We have already started producing manhole covers with green cement and recycled plastic waste. Going forward, we will continue focusing on strengthening the circular economy system of our product line as well as achieving (a phased-wise) carbon offsetting goals through auditing of our end-to-end operations and carbon offsetting projects to steer our environmental commitment further.
Our initiatives represent the beginning of our commitment towards defining new environmental ethical standards for the infrastructure industry to adopt environmentally conscious societal development. We hope that the journey of KK Goes Green inspires all subsectors of infrastructure solution providers to explore environmental ethical behavior.
